'the future belongs to leaders now being taught by teachers.....'
..... teachers who are willing to give.....
as a teacher, you not only give lessons to your students; you give your very life (hrmm....... i wonder if this is true....... ). every day, in little pieces of time, energy or emotion, you give a part of yourself. you also give them the best part of your day, the best days of your week and the best years of your life.
but is it really a gift??? isn't it rather one of the wisest investment you will ever make?? you exchange your skill for their understanding. and most often, the understanding will be used for the betterment of society. you exchange your devotion for their admiration. and most often, that admiration will be used as a model for building personal character...... (hope this is true .........)
often, teaching seems to be so unidirectional. in actuality, it is an exciting cycle of investment and rewards. what you give now will be realized in some reciprocal action. you may not be around when it happens, but eventually your investment will pay off.
remember, you're not just a teacher. you are an investor-bartering your time and effort for the wealth that cannot be counted.
conclusion....... being a teacher need you to sacrifice ....... a lot...!!! invest you life in the student (hope they realise this.......)but also remember, 'small deeds done are better than great deeds planned'
